As Hollywood star Johnny Depp awaits the verdict in his multi-million dollar suit against ex-wife Amber Heard, the star hit the Royal Albert Hall stage for a special performance alongside Jeff Beck who is currently touring in the UK.

According to reports, Depp and Beck got fans up on their feet, as they rocked out to their 2020 collaboration ‘Isolation’, a remake of the John Lennon song released in 1970.

Introducing the 58-year-old he said “I met this bloke in Japan. He knocked on the door and we burst out laughing straight away. You may recognise him. He’s been through some s**t.”

“We kept it quiet because… obvious reasons… here he is,” Beck was quoted saying in one of the videos that went viral online.

The duo performed covers of various tracks including Marvin Gay’s ‘What’s Going On’ and Jimi Hendrix’s ‘Little Wing’. Footage of Depp singing and playing the guitar was also posted online. The clips saw the audience members cheering and applauding the Hollywood star as he performed his set.

According to various reports and online posts, Depp even received a standing ovation from the audience at the venue. Among the many fans in attendance, British singer Tom Jones and supermodel Kate Moss were also among the famous faces present at the gig.

The actor waved and blew kisses to the crowd as they gave him a standing ovation and cheered his name after the set.

The actor joined Jeff Beck at London’s Royal Albert Hall playing seven songs including Jimi Hendrix’s Little Wing and John Lennon’s Isolation.

Moss was spotted leaving the venue alone shortly after reuniting with her ex-boyfriend Depp backstage. She was in the news last week, when she came forward to testify in Depp’s case against Amber Heard.

According to DailyMail, Depp was seen leaving the Royal Albert Hall next to Beck just after 1 am, with the actor clutching a bag containing a jar tagged ‘Purple Unicorn’. According to the portal, a rare strain of marijuana has the same name.
