‘Jhund’: Nagraj Manjule’s Amitabh Bachchan starrer to hit the theatres on March 4, 2022 – See new poster – Times of India

Big B took to his Twitter handle to share a brand new poster of the film along with the announcement of the new release date. He captioned it, ‘T 4178 – Iss toli se muqaabla karne ke liye raho taiyaar! Humari team aa rahi hai ⚽Goal net #Jhund releasing on 4th Mar 2022 in cinemas near you.’

In the poster, Mr Bachchan is seen holding a football in his hands. the megastar plays the role of Vijay Barse in the film. Vijay is the founder of Slum Soccer, an organisation which uplifts underprivileged children through football. The film is shed light on his life and his teachings as a sports teacher. ‘
Jhund’ also stars Vicky Kadian and Ganesh Deshmukh in lead roles. The biographical sports drama was announced in February 2019. It marks Manjule’s debut in Bollywood.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Amitabh Bachchan also has Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’ in his pipeline. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles. It also features Akkineni Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy in pivotal roles. ‘Brahmastra’ will hit the theatres on September 9, 2022.

Apart from this, Big B also has Vikas Bahl’s ‘Goodbye’ with Rashmika Mandanna and Neena Gupta and Sooraj Barjatya’s ‘Oonchai’ with Parineeti Chopra and Anupam Kher.
