Jennifer Lopez Wears a Wetsuit-Inspired Gown on the Red Carpet

Last night, Jennifer Lopez made an appearance at the premiere of The Flash, supporting her husband Ben Affleck, who is once again portraying Batman in the film. The married couple are never ones to shy away from PDA and they shared a kiss (or two) on the red carpet. However their looks, which were deliberately in sync, are equally deserving of our attention.

True to form, J Lo once again delivered a strong red carpet look, expertly curated by her stylists Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haen. Her gown is a sporty twist on eveningwear and is fresh off-the-runway from Gucci’s resort 2023 collection, which recently debuted in Seoul. The gown has a sleek black zip-up bodice made of scuba fabric and the sporty vibe of the wetsuit-style top is contrasted by a pretty peach satin maxi skirt, which has a flowing long train. On the runway it was zipped up to the top of the collar, however J Lo unzipped hers to just above the belly button to make it a more revealing look.

The actor kept the rest of her look relatively simple with a pair of white leather platform pumps from Gucci, alongside beautiful jewelry pieces from Daniela Villegas and Le Vian and a sleek black leather clutch bag by Kurt Geiger.

Affleck complemented his wife’s ensemble with an all-black look, comprised of a sleek black suit, a matching black shirt and polished black leather dress shoes. Looking back at their red carpet appearances, Affleck often ensures his choice of suiting mirrors the vibe of J Lo’s look, presenting a cohesive overall look.
