Jennifer Lawrence’s Press Tour Is Off to a Stylish Start

It’s press tour time for J.Law! This morning, actor Jennifer Lawrence touched down in London, England to begin her marathon of appearances to promote her new rom-com, No Hard Feelings. (In the Gene Stupnitsky-directed film, she plays a strapped-for-cash woman who’s hired by parents to date their awkward 19-year-old son.) An A-lister with a handful of movie premieres to attend needs an exquisite wardrobe as well. Working with stylist Jamie Mizrahi, Lawrence eschewed the Old Hollywood gowns she wore to Cannes last month, and instead brought about a fresh-yet-luxe vibe. 

When she touched down at the airport in London, the star emerged wearing a gray, asymmetrical-hemline top and trousers by The Row, punctuated by Oliver Peoples x Khaite shades and Tiffany & Co.’s Elsa Peretti Sevillana pendant necklace. It felt polished and super sleek, a modern alternative to the classic suit. When it came time for the film’s step and repeat, Lawrence changed into a sheer silk dress from Christian Dior’s recent fall 2023 collection, finished off with Anita Ko jewels. The Maria Grazia Chiuri design featured a sheer torso (with the hint of a black bra underneath) and all-over sequin embellishments, offering a fresh take on the LBD—especially thanks to the black leather gloves. (Opera gloves are having a moment, after all—haven’t you heard?).
