Jawan Release Postponed: Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan’ not likely to clash with Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’ and Sunny Deol’s ‘Gadar 2’ – deets inside | – Times of India

A lot has been speculated about Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan‘, especially after the humugous success of ‘Pathaan’. Fans are now waiting for the trailer and the release date announcement of the film with bated breath. Some days ago, it was said that the film will release on June 29, but yesterday, reports suggested that the film has been pushed ahead and will now release in August.
It was being said that ‘Jawan’ will either release on August 11 or August 25. However, Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal‘ and Sunny Deol’s ‘Gaddar 2’ are already releasing on these dates respectively. That led to fans wondering if ‘Jawan’ will clash with these other biggies! But a new report suggests that while ‘Jawan’ will release in August, but may not clash with these movies. Moreover, both these dates have their own benefit. August 11 comes before Independence day which falls on Tuesday this year hence, ‘Animal’ will get that extended holiday benefit. ‘Jawan’ is being considered to release on August 25 though. But, the makers of ‘Animal’ and ‘Gadar 2‘ both will refrain from shifting their movies as they had booked these dates a while ago.
An announcement of ‘Jawan’ is expected real soon and the industry insiders hope that these big films don’t clash and all three of them can prove to be successful. Meanwhile, recently, Nayanthara was spotted shooting for some patch work portions for ‘Jawan’ in Mumbai.
