Jawan director Atlee shares first glimpse of his baby boy after Shah Rukh Khan discloses his son’s name | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

Director Atlee and his wife Priya became parents to their first child, a baby boy on January 31. The couple had announced the arrival of their bundle of joy on social media, however, they had not disclosed their baby’s name or a picture at that time. After SRK talked about Atlee’s newborn son, the director finally gave a glimpse of his little angel to his fans.
Sharing his first-ever family picture with his son and wife, Atlee wrote, “Yes the name is MEER Very happy to be revealing our little angels name #meer #babyboy.” The director refrained from revealing the baby’s face and hide it using a heart emoji. The couple were seen cradling their baby boy in their arms with a wide smile on their faces.

On Saturday, Shah Rukh Khan announced the new release date of Jawan along with a teaser and a poster. The movie is all set to release on September 7 worldwide. He then started interacting with his fans on Twitter and talked about his experience of working with Atlee.

When a Twitter user asked to name one speciality of Atlee that he enjoyed the most, SRK revealed the director’s son’s name and also mentioned how his wife Priya feeds him with delicious food. “@Atlee_dir is very dedicated and smart. Also now he has such a lovely baby Meer and Priya feeds me very good food. #Jawan,” SRK replied.

Jawan marks SRK’s maiden project with Atlee, who is known for directing blockbuster Tamil movies like Raja Rani, Theri, Mersal and Bigil. It promises to be a spectacular event film with high octane action sequences. The movie also features South star Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in pivotal roles. It will be released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
