‘Javelin – Ek Prem Katha’: Neeraj Chopra features in hilarious satirical TV commercial, WATCH

Since August 7 when he won the gold medal in men’s javelin throw in Tokyo Olympics, it has been only one name on India’s lips – Neeraj Chopra. Chopra has made headlines since then for obviously creating the history, getting India’s first medal in Track and Field but also for jokes and memes around him and a variety of questions he has been asked in the media.

Neeraj Chopra now surprised everyone with his acting skills as he featured in the latest advertisement for the credit card bill payments app, Cred ahead of the resumption of the 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Cred, one of the sponsors of the IPL has impressed one and all with its quirky and hilarious ad campaigns during the cash-rich league and made a smashing return featuring Neeraj Chopra, who was seen taking a dig at all the memes, jokes and questions asked by the media to him since his gold medal win.

The brand had released an ad featuring Rahul Dravid, who lost his temper during a Bangalore traffic while in another three of India’s 90s cricketers featured in a boy band.

In this one, Neeraj was seen doing makeovers of media person, corporate CEO, bank manager, Bollywood producer mouthing hilarious dialogues and asking questions while giving hilarious movie names – ‘Neeraj hua madham’, ‘Javelin – Ek Prem Katha’ for his alleged biopic.

The 14th edition of the IPL resumed on Sunday, September 19 with Chennai Super Kings taking on Mumbai Indians.
