Janhvi Kapoor wants to work with Alphonse Puthren – Times of India
Alphonse Puthren’s directorial ‘Premam’ was released in 2015, and it featured Nivin Pauly, Sai Pallavi, Anupama Parameswaran, and, Madonna Sebastian in the lead roles. The film spoke about the love affairs of George David, played by Nivin Pauly, from his pre-degree days, portraying the varying grip of a man over love and life.
During the interview, Janhvi Kapoor also shared her wish to work with Tamil filmmaker Vetrimaaran.
Meanwhile, speaking to ETimes recently Janhvi Kapoor opened up about the challenges she had while filming for ‘Good Luck Jerry’, she said, “I think learning Jerry’s accent was a challenge. She has a Bihari accent. And the dialect was a big part of trying to understand Jerry’s psyche, and also the fact that she’s doing something that isn’t morally right. But she’s doing it for her family. So I think to not judge the character and to still make sure that she’s a protagonist and root for her, even though she’s doing something that’s essentially because of trying to find that balance and show that there’s humour without it ever feeling like she’s not actually in trouble. Finding the balance between all of these things, I think, was tough.”
