Janhvi Kapoor: I look forward to following my director’s lead | Hindi Movie News – Times of India
She says that she likes learning different methods while working with different directors.
As Janhvi teamed up with theChhichhore director for the first time, she said, “The kind of an actor that I am and I want to be… I like the thrill of following my director’s lead for each film. So, the director can be demanding or can expect my emotional and physical investment… I will just go with him/her on that journey.”
She further adds, “I like to follow my director and learn more about myself in the process and also the craft. As an artiste you can pick up different things in different processes and it in a way, I think, makes each performance more different.”
Earlier, talking about working on her latest flick, Janhvi had told BT, “One doesn’t have to struggle and take pressure to guarantee results. Sometimes you can just enjoy the process, believe in what you are doing and follow your director’s lead and the results can be equally special. I think I understood the value of being relaxed on this set and perform.”
