Jake Paul CONFIRMS Tommy Fury has pulled out with Tyron Woodley stepping in for rematch
Tommy Fury has been ruled out of his grudge match with fierce rival Jake Paul, which has caused the latter to call the Briton ‘boxing’s biggest b****’ – with Tyron Woodley replacing the Love Island star for the December 18 fight.
The two fighters, who have been embroiled in a grizzly war of words in the months leading up to their showdown, were set to scrap a week on Saturday.
However, the fight has now been called off after Fury dropped out of the fight with Woodley, another of Paul’s foes, filling in for a rematch. Woodley, a former UFC welterweight champion, suffered a split decision loss to the youngest Paul sibling in their tussle in August.
YouTube star Paul confirmed the news on Monday in a toxic Instagram post slamming Fury for his withdrawal.
‘It’s official: Tommy Fury is boxing’s biggest b****,’ said Paul in an Instagram video. ‘He has pulled out of the fight. The Furys have pulled out of the fight due to a “medical condition”.

‘Who what the f*** is going on in that camp? He fumbled the biggest bag of his life, now he will be watching at home, paying me $60 instead of getting paid millions of dollars to fight me.
‘I’ve fought with a broken nose, I’ve fought sick. Get the f*** over it, this is boxing. It’s official. He was scared. I think the pressure got to him, the s*** talk got to him. That’s the bad news.
‘The good news is that Mr Tyron Woodley, we called him up and we were like: “hey, do you want to take the fight?” He has been in training.
‘He was like: “Sure, we’ll take the fight, let’s do the rematch, run it back.” I’m giving him $500,000 extra dollars if he can knock me out.’

Paul also captioned the Instagram post: ‘When my team woke me up on Friday to tell me Tommy Fumbles was pulling out, I told them I’ll fight anyone on December 18th. Troy, Trey, Trevor, Travis,… I don’t give a f*** who it is.
‘Tommy’s pulling out because of a “medical condition” called vaginitis. Unlike the Fury’s, Tyron actually has some balls, is stepping in, and contractually he is getting an extra $500,000 if he knocks me out. First time I outboxed him. This time I’m gonna punish him and leave no doubt.’
Social media sensations were Fury and Paul due to step into the ring in Tampa, Florida. The Briton, the half-brother of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, had been forced to train in his camp while coping with a cold.
‘Tommy had a little bit of a cold but hopefully he is going to be okay,’ promoter Frank Warren revealed recently.
Ahead of the fight, the youngest Paul sibling raised doubts over Fury making it to fight night
‘We are up in Morecambe [on Wednesday] so hopefully we will know more then, but he is up for it and he wants to fight.
‘He can’t wait for the fight and I know certainly from Jake’s perspective he can’t wait for the fight.’
This afternoon, Woodley’s manager, Malki Kawa, said the fighter was ‘excited’ to take on Paul once again, with the Fury bout seemingly off.
‘I’m excited to get this deal done,’ Kawa said in a statement. ‘And to have Tyron have the fight he was supposed to originally have anyway.’

The duo made a verbal agreement to rematch after their first showdown.
There have been no specific details released yet, however, and it is not clear how many rounds there would be if Woodley steps in as expected.
Fury was scheduled to jet out to Florida this week to work with coach SugarHill Steward, having been trained instead by Tyson after the fight was pencilled in.
Paul, meanwhile, has held suspicions that his opponent wouldn’t make it to the fight.

During their feisty press conference, he told Fury: ‘Make sure you show up. Just make sure you show up.’
The pre-fight verbal slinging match descended into chaos, live on BT Sport, after Fury’s father, John, delivered a stinging comment about Paul and his girlfriend.
The broadcaster livestreamed the event, which saw Fury and Paul exchange words. The former was joined by John, Tyson and Warren.
Paul, 24, participated via video link from Puerto Rico and traded insults with John across the farcical 22-minute event.
BT Sport issued an apology for ‘unacceptable’ remarks made during the press conference
He branded John a ‘nobody’ and told him to ‘suck my d***’ with tempers flaring.
But Fury Sr hit back in grizzly fashion by telling Paul he ‘doesn’t have a d*** to suck’, and then said: ‘You know when Tommy knocks you out, he’s gonna bend your girlfriend over and do her like a dog.’
In the aftermath, BT Sport issued a statement apologising for ‘unacceptable comments’ made during the stream.
‘This week BT Sport streamed a live boxing press conference that included a number of offensive and unacceptable comments, some of which has led to further online abuse,’ the statement read.

Fury Sr said Fury will ‘do’ Paul’s girlfriend Julia Rose after their fight if he wins by knockout
‘This goes against all the values that BT Sport wants to uphold. We would like to apologise for any offence or upset this has caused.’
Paul holds a 4-0 professional record, three of which ended by way of a knockout.
Meanwhile, Fury has fought seven times and remains unbeaten. Four of his victories came by knockout.
