- Another set of 36 satellites from OneWeb is planned to be put into orbit in January 2023.ISRO feels this is a historic milestone as LVM3 is making its entry into the global commercial launch service market.
The contracts with the UK-based Network Access Associates Limited (OneWeb) was signed by NewSpace India Limited (NSIL), a central public sector enterprise (CPSE) under the Department of Space and the commercial arm of the space agency. OneWeb is a joint venture between India’s Bharti Global and the UK government.
