Kartik Aaryan is currently riding high on his latest release, ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’. The actor also recently announced his upcoming film, ‘Chandu Champion‘ with Kabir Khan.
According to a recent update on the same, Shraddha Kapooris being considered for the female lead in the sports drama. A report in Bollywood Hungama stated that Sajid Nadiadwala and Kabir Khan are scouting for a leading lady and they are keen on Shraddha playing the role.The actress too is excited about the project. The report added that as of now, she is the lead in the race. Currently, Sajid and Shraddha are in talks and working out on the modalities.

This will be the first time Kartik and Shraddha will be seen sharing the screen space in a film. Kartik was, however, seen making a cameo in Luv Ranjan‘s ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar’.

‘Chandu Champion’ is reportedly a sports drama. However, there are many elements in the film that reportedly require VFX and hence the director will be keeping a good amount of time for the post-production. Both Kabir and Sajid are confident that this will be a landmark film in their career. It is slated to hit the theatres on June 14, 2024.
Apart from this, Kartik also has Anurag Basu’s ‘Aashiqui 3‘. This will be his first project with the filmmaker. The makers are yet to rope Kartik’s leading lady in the film.
Shraddha, on the other hand, is currently prepping up for ‘Stree 2‘ with Rajkummar Rao, Aparshakti Khurrana, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and others.
