It’s Christmas Day, but many football fans have the same question: Is NFL RedZone on today?
On most Sunday’s, this would be met with an easy answer — absolutely, yes. It’s the regular season, and a Sunday. What’s the catch?
Sunday’s Week 16 slate features only three games, in part because most of the matchups were played on Christmas Eve. For the actual holiday, the NFL opted not to compete with both a major holiday and the NBA, which has its own claim on Christmas.
The following games will be played on Sunday:
- Miami Dolphins vs Green Bay Packers
- Los Angeles Rams vs Denver Broncos
- Arizona Cardinals vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Given those games are all played at different times, there is very little need for NFL RedZone.
Is NFL RedZone on today?
No, NFL RedZone is not on today, Sunday Dec. 25, 2022, as there are only three NFL games being played. RedZone will resume next Sunday, Week 17, thanks to the full slate of regular-season action. The majority of this week’s games were played on Christmas Eve, with the exception of the Packers vs Dolphins, Rams vs Broncos and Cardinals vs Buccaneers.
There is very little need for NFL RedZone on a day like today, as the games can be seen in their entirety without missing action from another exciting contest of professional football.
