IPL 2021: Virat Kohli wins toss, opts to bowl; George Garton makes debut for RCB
Royal Challengers Bangalore have won the toss and chosen to bowl first against Rajasthan Royals in Match No 43 of the 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021. Skipper Virat Kohli felt that the pitch remained good throughout in the last game and if you can get a decent start, the runs will come consistently.
Kohli reckoned that since it’s a new pitch he wanted to provide his bowlers with the conditions upfront. RCB made just one change, bringing in English left-arm seamer, who is coming off from a fabulous form playing for Sussex in T20 Blast and Southern Brave in The Hundred, in place of Kyle Jamieson.
RR skipper Sanju Samson said that Dubai is aground where the teams have won defending a total, so he was looking forward to have a crack with the bat. The Royals also made one change as Kartik Tyagi returned to their line-up in place of Jaydev Unadkat.
