IPL 2021: Tamil movie ‘Friendship’ featuring KKR’s Harbhajan Singh hits the theatres– Gear up to watch Kolkata Knight Riders star Harbhajan Singh on the big screen. The spinner has made his debut with the Tamil movie ‘Friendship’. As per a report, Harbhajan Singh will be showcased in action scenes and dance sequences alongside Bigg Boss fame Losliya Mariyanesan.

Friendship also features Arjun in a pivotal role along with Sathish apart from Harbhajan. The film is produced by Seantoa Studios and Cinemaass Studio and directed by John Paul Raj and Sham Suriya. The movie has been released in the theatres and will soon be available on online streaming platforms.

On the work front, Harbhajan Singh will be next seen in action for KKR in IPL 2021 Phase 2. KKR will resume their IPL 2021 campaign against Royal Challengers Bangalore on September 20 (Monday).

The 41-year-old has been the face of the Indian Premier League (IPL) since its genesis in 2008. For the longest period- from 2008 to 2017, Bhajji played for Mumbai Indians. He was part of the blue brigade when they lifted the IPL trophy thrice (2013, 2015, 2017) by then.

The right-arm off-spinner then played for Chennai Super Kings under MS Dhoni’s leadership for two seasons in 2018 and 2019 before he made pulled out of the 2020 season citing personal reasons.

Ahead of IPL 2021, he was traded by Kolkata Knight Riders for the base price of 2 crores in the auction.
