IPL 2021: Shahid Afridi says its ‘treat to watch’ Virat Kohli’s undivided attention in practice sessions

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) are all set to face Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and make sure to enter the top 2 despite already being qualified for the play-offs.

While the preparation for the same are on, RCB skipper Virat Kohli shared a video of him practising in the nets. He captioned the video “prepping” and fans are surely enjoying seeing the man back in form.

However, former Pakistan cricketer Shahid Afridi was in awe of Kohli’s dedication even during a net session. He shared Kohli’s video and wrote, “Treat to watch – A great player always gives 100% in practice!!”

Kohli will be aiming to topple Chennai Super Kings (CSK), led by MS Dhoni, to the second position in the table. They are currently placed at No.3.

As for Afridi, he was recently part of the Kathmandu Kings XI in the 2021 edition of the Everest Premier League. He has played only one game against the Lalitpur Patriots where he didn’t get a chance to bat and went wicketless, conceding 32 runs in his spell of four overs.

Prior to that, he played for Rawalakot Hawks in the 2021 Kashmir Premier League and his side went on to become the champions after beating the Muzaffarabad Tigers by eight runs in the final.

Afridi had scored 52 runs from four innings at an average of 13 and had also picked up eight wickets at an economy rate of 7.50.
