Inter Miami are looking to sign two more former Barcelona stars, with president Jorge Mas confirming that the club have held discussions with Jordi Alba and Luis Suarez.
Lionel Messi, 36, has already sealed a move to Inter Miami after turning down a lucrative proposal from Al-Hilal, while experienced midfielder Sergio Busquets, 34, is also heading to MLS.
Meanwhile, Alba, 34, is available as a free agent after leaving Barcelona. Suarez, 36, currently plays for Brazilian side Gremio, where he has a release clause.
Inter Miami president Jorge Mas told El Pais: ‘Two or three more players will come. We spoke with Jordi Alba — while Luis Suarez has a contract and a release clause. I don’t know if that will happen or not.’
Inter Miami, who are co-owned by David Beckham, are determined to build a stronger squad and Messi’s arrival could help the club to attract further big names.

Messi’s arrival at Inter Miami is set to be confirmed ‘really soon’.
MLS commissioner Don Garber told Sky Sports: ‘We continue to work to finalize all aspects of our arrangement with and look forward to making some announcements really soon.
‘Couldn’t be more excited – the best player that has ever played the game picking Major League Soccer as his league of choice.
‘I think it’s a great testament of where MLS is on the global soccer football landscape. Also great testament to Inter Miami, their ambition and what they are trying to do to build the sport in the south part of Florida.
‘He (Messi) is very supportive, passionate – it is going to be a great moment for soccer in north America.’

Inter Miami recently confirmed the appointment of Tata Martino as coach. Martino previously worked with Messi at both Barcelona and Argentina.
Martino insisted that Messi and Busquets are not coming to Inter Miami ‘for a vacation’.
‘I spoke to Leo and yesterday spoke to Sergio,’ Martino said at his first press conference since becoming Miami coach.
‘Sometimes people hear Miami they think holidays. But these two players are not coming here for a vacation, they are here to work and compete and win. That is in their blood.’
Messi was reportedly offered €400million (£345m) per season to play for Al-Hilal but decided to join Inter Miami instead.
