Indiana cheerleader goes viral for magical March Madness moment [Video]

While Indiana and Saint Mary’s had to pause their game due to a stuck ball, one Indiana cheerleader went viral as she saved the day.

It’s never any fun to have to put things on pause due to technical difficulties. That’s a universal truth that applies to all facets of life, but it definitely applies to March Madness and the NCAA Tournament.

As the Indiana Hoosiers and Saint Mary’s Gaels were facing off, a ball somehow got lodged in the backboard. With that ball unfortunately stuck where nobody could reach, play was paused as referees and players alike tried to figure out how to get everything back on track and the ball freed.

You can’t play a basketball game while a basketball is stuck in the backboard, after all.

But because nobody was tall enough to reach the ball, some creativity was needed to get the game started once again.

Thankfully, one brilliant Indiana cheerleader was able to help the Hoosiers and Saint Mary’s get the game started up once again. It was a little unconventional, but the Indiana cheerleader was hoisted up by her partner to where she was able to get the basketball freed and out of the backboard.

This is absurd and bizarre but it helps make basketball great and fun for seemingly just about everyone who was able to watch this. That includes the Indiana fans who were at the game and watching their team get crushed by Saint Mary’s.

Everyone in the arena was excited! It’s great!

And now the clip is making its rounds on social media and going viral. This moment is just absolutely phenomenal.
