Once they are cooled and put inside the jar, add more ingredients like salt to help preserve the masala, cornflour to increase the shelf life of the masala by keeping it dry, dried mint powder for the extra zing, and turmeric for a nice shade to the masala. Grind into a fine powder and store in an airtight container. Parul even prepares an aloo matar dish with the help of the masala.
