IND vs SL Asia Cup Super Four Highlights: Sri Lanka win by six wickets

Sri Lanka won a thrilling encounter as Bhanuka Rajapaksa and Dausn Shanaka kept their cool to chase down 174 and win the game by six wickets. The openers put Sri Lanka ahead in the chase with the openers hitting a fifty each and adding 97 for the first wicket. Yuzvendra Chahal and Ravichandran Ashwin tried to bring India back with four quick wickets and at one moment, Sri Lanka needed 63 off 35 balls with two batters who had not made even a single run at the crease. 


But Rajapaksa and Shanaka kept believing and added an unbeaten 64 off just 34 balls to win the game. 

Earlier in the evening, after being put to bat first, India had a bad start and lost two quick wickets in KL Rahul and Virat Kohli. Suryakumar Yadav and Rohit Sharma added 97 for the third wicket. However, Rohit got out on 72 off 41 balls and India lost the momentum. They could eventually score only 53 off 35 balls to finish at 173/8 in 20 overs.  


The Sri Lankan team is playing with the same team that beat Bangladesh and Afghanistan. On the other hand, India have brought in Ravichandran Ashwin in place of Ravi Bishnoi
