Ruturaj Gaikwad, Rinku Singh, and Sanju Samson were the standout performers in India’s decisive victory over Ireland in Dublin on Sunday. In the rain-affected first game, India emerged victorious by a narrow margin of two runs, thanks to the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern method.

In the second game, after Ireland captain Paul Stirling won the toss and elected to bowl, India set a formidable target of 185 runs in 20 overs. Gaikwad contributed an impressive 58 runs off 43 balls, while Singh and Samson added 38 runs off 21 balls and 40 runs off 26 balls, respectively. Their combined efforts propelled India to a commanding total.

In response, the Irish team struggled to keep up with the required run rate and could only manage 152 runs for the loss of 8 wickets. Ravi Bishnoi, Prasidh Krishna, and Jasprit Bumrah were the standout bowlers for India, each claiming two wickets.
