IND vs ENG Live Score – Virat Kohli’s decision to bat backfires: Virat Kohli’s decision to bat first proved to be a big failure as James Anderson completely destroyed India in the opening 45 minutes. There was no comeback on the offer as India folded for just 78 runs in the first innings with nine batsmen scoring in single-digits. It was their third-lowest total against England in England.

James Anderson and Craig Overton were England’s pick of the bowlers, scalping three wickets each. Sam Curran and Ollie Robinson managed two wickets each.

IND vs ENG Live Score – Hameed, Burns fire: With just 78 runs on board, India needed a lot more than just to fight back but Virat Kohli’s bowlers failed to deliver. Although Virat Kohli hinted at Ashwin’s inclusion at the pre-match press conference but he chose to stick to the Playing XI that won the Lord’s Test despite lack of grass on the Headingley pitch.
