Last weekend, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck celebrated their marriage at Affleck’s home in Riceboro, Georgia. The two got legally married last month, but celebrated with friends and family with a series of events on Friday and Saturday. Lopez wore three couture Ralph Lauren gowns for the occasion, and shared a look at them in her newsletter and on Vogue. They were showstopping, naturally.
The Cambridges also announced that they would be moving from London to Windsor, England, in Adelaide Cottage. The news is not unexpected—the Queen now lives in Windsor full time—but certainly marks a new chapter for Kate, William, and their three young children.
Vogue released its September issue this month, and the articles are not to be missed. Thebe Magugu and Valentino’s Pierpaolo Piccioli traded pieces of their work to be transformed by the other. Magugu repurposed a Valentino pink couture gown into a parka and blouse, while Piccioli reworked a coat and pants into a regal piece of outerwear.
Bottega Veneta’s new creative director, Matthieu Blazy, was profiled by Nathan Heller for the issue as well. The 37-year-old designer spoke with Heller about the pace of fashion, memorably saying, “How many influencers can really influence something that has been influenced already 5,000 times before?”
