In the West Indies, a total of seven venues have been designated to host matches during the event. These venues include Antigua & Barbuda, Barbados, Dominica, Guyana, St. Lucia, Trinidad & Tobago, and St. Vincent & The Grenadines. This tournament marks a significant moment in cricket history as the United States will co-host the event for the first time. The three venues selected for matches in the USA are Grand Prairie in Dallas, Broward County in Florida, and Nassau County in New York.

ICC Chief Executive Geoff Allardice expressed his excitement about the event, noting that the West Indies, as the host, will offer a unique and unforgettable experience for cricket fans. He also expressed gratitude to Cricket West Indies and the seven host governments for their continued support of the sport.

Regarding the participating teams, a total of 20 teams will compete in the 2024 Men’s T20 World Cup. Fifteen teams have already secured their spots, while the remaining five will be determined through the Americas, Asia, and Africa Qualifiers in the coming months.

The host nations, the United States and the West Indies, automatically qualify for the tournament. Additionally, Australia, England, India, Netherlands, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, and Sri Lanka have secured their places by finishing in the top eight in the 2022 edition of the tournament.

Bangladesh and Afghanistan have earned their spots based on their positions in the ICC Men’s T20I Team Ranking at the conclusion of the previous T20 World Cup. Ireland, Scotland, and PNG have also secured berths through the Qualifiers.
