Not to pick favorites, but no one really does denim quite like Agolde. The L.A.-based label has earned a cult following for its rigid jeans that are the next best thing to hard-to-source vintage denim in both modern and trendier fits. Its ultra-high-rise Pinch Waist jeans are an editor favorite, while the trendier Criss Cross fit is all over Instagram.
Naturally, being the shopping-obsessed editor and rigid-denim fanatic that I am, I had to test out the jeans for myself. I’m no stranger to Agolde but have only scratched the surface of its selection, so when the opportunity presented itself to test-drive a number of the brand’s most popular jeans, denim shorts, and basics, I did not hesitate.
