Hum AAP ke hain kaun? What’s brewing between Raghav Chadha and Parineeti Chopra? – Times of India
Are they dating? Are they old friends? Are they getting married? Gossip mills are working overtime after Parineeti Chopra and AAP MP Raghav Chadha were spotted together in Mumbai on a dinner outing on Wednesday, followed by a lunch meeting on Thursday. While the two have not acknowledged any of the rumours or questions, a source in the know informed us that there’s definitely something brewing.
‘There will be a formal announcement soon’
“The two went for dinner recently after their families initiated discussions on marriage. They knew each other, liked each other and had common interests, and everything worked out well. Their families have known each other for some time,” the source told us, adding that there will soon be a formal announcement and a roka ceremony. “There has been no formal ceremony yet, but the families are discussing it and there will be some ceremony soon. Both families are happy about the two being together, but fixing a date for any ceremony is difficult considering the two are busy with their respective schedules. The ceremony will be a small, intimate affair with close family members,” adds the source.
Parineeti Chopra & Raghav Chadha’s UK connection
Some reports say that the two have known each other since they were both studying in the UK. As per reports, Parineeti studied at Manchester Business School, while Raghav studied at the London School of Economics. Both Parineeti and Raghav attended the first India UK Outstanding Achievers award in London in January. They were among the 75 awardees at the event, which celebrated the achievements of Indian students who studied at British universities.
Why can’t Raghav stop grinning?
After his Mumbai outing, Raghav returned to Delhi and Parliament on Friday and was promptly bombarded with questions about Parineeti by the media outside the Parliament House. In the videos, the MP can be seen grinning as he is quizzed about his relationship status with the Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar actress and if rumours about their wedding were true. “Aap mujhse raajneeti ke sawaal kariye, Parineeti ke sawaal na kariye,” he quipped. When pressed further about whether he is getting married, Raghav said, “Jab karenge tab aapko batayenge,” while continuing to grin.
The topic followed Raghav inside Parliament too. Responding to a suspension of business notice given by the MP, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar teased, “You’ve occupied enough space in social media, this may be a day of silence for you.” Despite the cheeky comment, Raghav could not stop grinning.
