Hrithik Roshan makes silly face in new photo, fans are reminded of Koi Mil Gaya: ‘Mujhe kuch dikhayi nahi dera ma’

Hrithik Roshan showcased his sense of humour in his new Instagram post, as he gave a funny caption to a picture of him making a silly expression. He shared a photo of himself, seemingly talking to someone on the phone, and wrote, “This call could have been a WhatsApp message.”

The post left many of Hrithik’s industry colleagues in splits. Abhishek Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, Tahira Kashyap and Rohit Saraf dropped laughing emojis, while Varun Dhawan dropped a clapping emoji.

Fans, meanwhile, were reminded of Hrithik’s 2003 film Koi Mil Gaya and had some hilarious responses. One person quoted a line from the film: “Ma mujhe kuch dikhayi nahi dera ma (Mother, I cannot see anything).” Another made a reference to the lovable alien in the movie and wrote, “Jadoo kaha se aa gaya ye (From where did Jadoo come).” A third fan also commented with one of Hrithik’s lines from the film, “Maa ye meri shakti ka galat istemal kar rahe hai maa (Mother, they are misusing my powers).”

Meanwhile, Hrithik has been busy shooting for the Hindi remake of the Tamil hit Vikram Vedha, which will also star Saif Ali Khan. The original followed a police officer, Vikram, who sets out to capture a dreaded gangster named Vedha. When Vedha voluntarily surrenders, he tells Vikram three stories, which challenge his notion of good and evil.

Other than this, Hrithik also has Fighter, directed by Siddharth Anand, in the pipeline. The film, said to be an action entertainer high on patriotism, marks his first collaboration with Deepika Padukone. It is slated to open in theatres on September 30, 2022.
