HP expands gaming portfolio with new Omen, Victus laptops – Times of India

HP’s latest gaming portfolio: Price and availability
The Omen Transcend 16 laptop will be available at a starting price of Rs 1,59,999, while the
Omen 16 laptops will start at Rs 1,04,999. Meanwhile, the Victus 16 laptop will be available at a starting price of Rs 59,999. On the other hand, the HyperX 27-inch QHD display monitor will be available at a starting price of Rs 30,990 and the HyperX Cloud II Core wireless gaming headset carries a price tag of Rs 9,190.
Omen Gaming Hub: New improvements
All the products that HP has announced will arrive with the improved OMEN Gaming Hub features. The company claims that the Processor Core Affinity Optimisation within the Omen Optimiser will help in up to a 10% improvement in FPS.
The ECO Mode also promises to yield up to 20% more battery life and up to a 7 dB reduction in fan noise in Omen and Victus laptops for quieter gaming sessions. Combined with other features such as Performance Mode, Network Booster and System Vitals, Omen Gaming Hub also claims to enable gaming devices to work better together.
HP Omen Transcend 16: Key specs and features
HP claims that the Omen Transcend 16 laptop is its thinnest and lightest gaming PC that comes powered by the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 series graphics and 13th-gen Intel Core i9-13900HX processor. The 19.9 mm laptop comes with a magnesium frame and weighs 2.1 kg. The Omen Transcend 16 sports a display that supports HDR 1000 and a 16:10 aspect ratio. The notebook also packs a 97Whr battery uni and supports the Omen Tempest Cooling technology for heat management.

The Omen 16 will sport a QHD display that will support a 240Hz refresh rate and a 3ms response time. This laptop will come powered by a 13th Gen Intel Core i7 mobile processor and up to Nvidia GeForce RTX 4050 GPUs that will be backed by 32GB RAM. The notebook will also feature a redesigned airflow system and an FHD camera with a manual shutter door.
HP Victus 16: Key specs and features
This laptop will be powered by a 13th Gen Intel Core i7 mobile processor and up to Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 laptop GPUs. For colling, the Victus 16 will also feature the Omen Tempest Cooling as well as an IR thermopile sensor. The notebook will be available in two colour options — mica silver and performance blue along with a 1-Zone RGB keyboard option.
HyperX 27-inch QHD gaming monitor: Key specs and features
This monitor has a customisable setup that will allow gamers to adjust the tilt and height. It also comes with an ergonomic mounted arm to better optimise desk space. For gameplay, the monitor supports a 165Hz refresh rate and 1 ms response time. The panel also offers QHD 1440p and VESA Display HDR 400.
