Things to keep in mind
Google is using the power of AI to save time and energy when writing emails. Write for me feature can also help users to write more effective emails by providing you with a starting point and suggesting ways to improve your writing.
- The more specific you are in your prompt, the better the results will be. For example, instead of typing “Email to a colleague,” try typing “Email to my colleague Ryan about a presentation.”
- You can use the Formalise, Elaborate, and Shorten buttons to change the tone and length of the draft.
- You can also use the Refresh button to generate a new draft.
- The Write for Me tool is not able to understand all types of requests. For example, it can’t write emails that require specific knowledge or expertise.
- The Write for Me tool is not able to write emails that are confidential or sensitive in nature.
