Hollywood actress Eva Longoria was able to do what Prime Minister Rishi Sunak shied away from by throwing out the first pitch at a baseball game.
Longoria appeared at a Texas Rangers game and tossed out the ceremonial first pitch.
Judging by her reaction – with the actress jumping up and down while clapping her hands – the pitch was a good one.
That differed from the way that Sunak approached his first pitch at a Washington Nationals game – as the PM ultimately chose to back out of the honor.
But Sunak did appear at Nationals Park, wearing a varsity-jacket style coat and holding a baseball while waving to the crowd.

Sunak was in DC visiting President Joe Biden on his first official visit to the US capitol city
Sunak is making his first official visit to Washington as prime minister since he assumed office back on October 25 of last year.
Earlier on Thursday, the Conservative Party leader met with President Joe Biden in the White House – with the Commander-in-Chief stressing that the ‘Special Relationship’ between Britain and the US was in ‘real good shape’.
While this is Sunak’s first official visit, it’s the first time Biden and Sunak are meeting in the American capital.
But Biden botched the introduction in their media opportunity earlier this afternoon where he referred to Sunak as ‘Mr. President’.
