Here’s why Vicky Kaushal got 13 facial stitches before commencing ‘Sardar Udham’ shoot – Times of India
The makers have recently dropped the trailer of Vicky Kaushal-starrer biopic Sardar Udham. The trailer has already created a buzz giving a glimpse into the life of Sardar Udham Singh, played by Vicky in a never-seen-before avatar focusing on his undeterred mission of avenging the lives of his beloved brethren, who were ruthlessly murdered in the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre of 1919.
Now during a press conference , the actor was asked if he was injured while shooting this film. The actor shared that he was injured while shooting for another film 4 days before beginning the shoot for ‘Sardar Udham’. “I got 13 stitches on my cheek. I clicked a photo with my stitches and the first person I sent the photo to was Shoojit Da (Sircar) because in four days he was starting Sardar Udham. Sir said, –Koi Baat Nahi stitches leke aajao. ( It’s okay, you may come for the shoot)

The actor then revealed that the scar that they see on the face of Sardar Udham is the scar from his previous shoot. The actor also shared that he had to don several looks in the film, which will soon be known and seen in detail.
