Here’s why the makers of ‘Vikram Vedha’ roped in Hrithik Roshan for the Hindi remake – Times of India

In an interview with a news portal, Gayathri revealed that Hrithik was the first actor to call them after the film’s release in 2017 to appreciate it. According to her, the superstar gets the depth and soul of ‘Vikram Vedha’. Calling him a talented actor, Gayathri stated that it has been incredible working with him so far.

Elaborating further, the director added that Hrithik is always looking at the larger picture and works towards making the project better. According to her, there is no ego involved even if they don’t agree on the same thing. Even when the actor needs clarifications, it is never about being the star of the film. It is about the story of the film. She also called the Bollywood star ‘extremely down to earth’.

The makers had created a makeshift Lucknow in Abu Dhabi where they shot a part of the story. Apart from Hrithik, the movie will also star Saif Ali Khan in the lead role. The original movie starred R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles.

Apart from this, Hrithik will also be seen in Siddharth Anand’s ‘Fighter’ where he will be sharing the screen space with Deepika Padukone for the first time.
