Here’s why Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zaraa, starring Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra has reportedly been delayed indefinitely | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

It seems all is not well with Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Katrina Kaif starrer Jee Le Zaraa. Recent reports suggest that the film has been put on the back-burner as director Farhan Akhtar has decided to move on from the project for an acting assignment. Farhan was supposed to return to direction after a gap of 12 years, but it seems his wait just got a little longer.

Now, as per an entertainment portal source, the real reason behind the delay has been revealed.

It seems like Priyanka Chopra was unable commit the dates due to her Hollywood projects and asked Farhan if they could shoot for Jee Le Zaraa in 2024. However, around that time, Alia is already committed to shooting for Ramayana and Baiju Bawra. Similarly, Katrina too was tied up with various things. Finally, when nothing seemed to be working out, Farhan decided to put the movie on the back-burner.
Reportedly, Farhan is currently in talks with Aamir Khan to act in the Hindi remake of Campeones, a Spanish sports comedy film that Aamir first offered to Salman Khan. And even after completing this film, there are more chances of him making Don 3 than Jee Le Zaraa.

In the meantime, Alia is busy with Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani and Heart of Stone, while Katrina is tied up with Tiger 3 and Merry Christmas. Priyanka has her hands full with multiple Hollywood projects.
