Boiled chana toast ingredients:

To make boiled chana toast, we used kabuli chana (white chickpea), two slices of bread, butter, tomato, green chillies, onion, coriander, salt, lemon juice and chaat masala. You can also replace kabuli chana with kala chana or rajma. All you need to do is, soak the legume the night before.

Start with boiling the overnight soaked chana with some salt. Meanwhile chop onions, tomatoes, green chillies and coriander finely. Once the chana is boiled, transfer it to a bowl and mix them well with chopped veggies. To it, add lemon juice and chaat masala and toss well. Keep aside.

Now, toast the bread slices and cut each slice from the middle. Spread butter on the toasted bread and top with the boiled chana mix. That’s it! You have the delicious and nutrient-rich boiled chana toast ready in not more than 10 to 15 minutes. Enjoy it hot. Click here for the detailed recipe.
