Has Vicky Kaushal been approached to star opposite Katrina Kaif in ‘Jee Le Zaraa’ with Priyanka Chopra and Alia Bhatt? – Times of India

The makers of Farhan Akhtar’s upcoming directorial, ‘Jee Le Zaraa’ have reportedly approached Vicky Kaushal to star opposite Katrina Kaif. The film also stars Alia Bhatt and Priyanka Chopra in lead roles.

A report in a news portal stated that Farhan, who is directing the film, will also be playing one of the male leads in the movie. Apart from that, the makers have now approached Vicky to star opposite Katrina. If that happens, ‘Jee Le Zaraa’ will be the couple’s first film together. The makers now have to cast just one more male lead to complete the casting. However, there has been no official confirmation or announcement regarding the same as yet.

This is also the first time that Alia, Katrina and Priyanka will be seen sharing the screen space. The movie is said to be a road film that centres around three female protagonists.

Recently, a source informed ETimes, ”A lot of people in Bollywood are tremendously surprised that how Farhan pulled off this casting coup. Actually ‘casting coup’ is a moderate term to use here because these three girls have a history of issues”.

On the work front, Katrina will next be seen in ‘Tiger 3’ with Salman Khan and Emraan Hashmi. She also has ‘Phone Bhoot’ with Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ishaan Khatter and Ali Abbas Zafar’s superhero series in her kitty.

Alia, on the other hand, has films like, ‘Brahmastra’, ‘RRR’, ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’, ‘Takht’ and ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ in her pipeline.
