Ram Charan is enjoying his moment of glory with ‘RRR’ winning a nod in the Best Song category at the Academy Awards 2023. Back home, there’s massive buzz about his next big filmy move.
The makers of Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Jawan’ have been hunting for an established actor to play a special role in the film. After Thalapathy Vijay and Allu Arjun reportedly turned down the part, the role is now offered to Ram Charan. According to Siasat, Ram Charan is yet to sign on the dotted line, but if it works out then it will make for an interesting watch. While Ram Charan is in US promoting ‘RRR’ ahead of Oscars ceremony, it remains to be seen if he will green light this project.

Directed by Atlee, ‘Jawan’ is an action thriller starring SRK in a double role with Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi essaying the lead roles. The film has been shot in multiple locations across the country. Speaking about the project, SRK had previously shared, “There is not much I can tell you about Jawan except the fact that I am having a great time as an actor. And Atlee, the director, it is a different kind of film. Everybody has seen his work. He makes outstanding mass oriented films, again a genre I have never done. So, I wanted to try my hands on it. And I think me and Atlee have good chemistry. I bring in some (to the film), he brings in some. Whatever we have done of Jawan is thrilling and exciting.”
