Samantha Akkineni and Naga Chaitanya have been hitting headlines ever since they announced their separation on October 2. And following their divorce, the ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ actor will soon move into a swanky new address. According to a news portal, Naga Chaitanya has purchased a new apartment in an upscale neighbourhood in Hyderabad. The plush residence is reportedly under renovation and Naga will shift there as soon as the work in wrapped. While Samantha will reportedly reside at the former couple’s Gachibowli mansion.

After exchanging rings in January 2017, Samantha and Naga had tied the knot in a dreamy destination wedding. Hosted in Goa, the couple’s nuptials included Hindu pheras and a white wedding. The celebrity couple had also hosted a star-studded reception which was attended by several influential names from the south film industry. Samantha Akkineni and Naga Chaitanya had flooded social media with dreamy pictures from their fairytale wedding.

And while the couple painted a fairytale love story with their mushy romance, their decision to part ways has pained fans. In her official statement announce separation from Naga Chaitanya, Samantha had shared, “To all our well wishers. After much deliberation and thought Chay and I have decided to part ways as husband and wife to pursue our own paths. We are fortunate to have a friendship of over a decade that was the very core of our relationship which we believe will always hold a special bond between us. We request our fans, well wishers and the media to support us during this difficult time and give us the privacy we need to move on.”
