Google Pixel 7a price tipped ahead of launch, this is how much it may cost – Times of India

Google’s Pixel 7a is expected to debut at the I/O on May 10, and pre-orders might also begin the same day. If you were saving up for the Pixel 7a, save a little bit more as Pixel 7a might cost $50 more than the Pixel 6a, at $499, according to 9to5Google.
But with a higher price are expected some upgrades as well. In line with the Pixel 7 series, the Pixel 7a will have a new design having a visor at the back mounting the cameras. The Pixel 7a might finally offer a high refresh rate of 90Hz. Then, there would be a new chip under the hood, the Tensor G2. The 12MP+12MP camera setup might also be upgraded to a 64MP main and a 13MP ultrawide sensor.
With pre-orders scheduled to begin the same day, the Pixel 7a will go on sale the next day, i.e., May 11, through retail channels in the US.
The Pixel 7a should come in three colours, as per Jon Prosser. These four colours will be – Charcoal, Snow, Sea, and Coral, which could remain exclusive to Google Store.
Unlike previously, Google will not be discontinuing the last-generation Pixel 6a. Instead, it will remain available for purchase at a discounted price. However, the exact price is not known as of now.
There is no word on when the Pixel 7a will arrive in India, but as per the rumours it should be launched in the coming months. Also, we do not know the price of Pixel 7a in India. Although, rumours say that it should be priced well below Rs 40,000.
Google at I/O is expected to introduce its first-ever folding smartphone, the Pixel Fold. The Pixel Fold might go on pre-orders later in May, carrying a price tag of $1,799. Another hardware to arrive could be the much-awaited Pixel Tablet, which was teased last summer.
