Google Pixel 7a appears on Geekbench, likely to be powered by Tensor G2 chipset – Times of India
In a recent development, Google Pixel 7a appeared on Geekbench, a cross-platform utility for benchmarking the central processing unit and graphics processing unit of computers, laptops, tablets, and phones.
The smartphone has been spotted with the codename “lynx”, and has earned a single-core score of 1,380 points and a multi-core score of 3,071 points in Geekbench version 6.
The listing also suggested the Google Pixel 7a be powered by the Tensor G2 chipset paired with 8GB RAM. The scores appeared to be on par as compared to the scores achieved by the Google Pixel 7.
Google Pixel 7a: Expected specifications
Recently, another online report revealed the likely specifications of the Pixel 7a smartphone. Based on the reports, the Pixel 7a is said to sport a 6.1-inch FHD+ OLED display that offers 90Hz refresh rate. It is also rumoured that the smartphone will come equipped with the Tensor G2 chipset paired with LPDDR5 RAM.
The device is expected to run Android 13 operating system out of the box.
The Pixel 7a is said to house a dual rear camera setup, comprising a 64MP main camera with a Sony IMX787 sensor and a 12MP ultra-wide angle lens. The front camera could house a 10.8MP selfie camera.
The rumoured Google Pixel 7a is expected to be backed by a 4500mAh battery.
