Glen Kamara makes Rangers form admission and sets momentum ambition for Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side
GLEN KAMARA is confident Rangers can maintain their momentum under Giovanni van Bronckhorst as he looks to recapture his finest form at Ibrox.
The midfielder has been an integral part of Van Bronckhorst’s side in recent weeks as the champions have bounced back from their Hampden humbling by Hibernian.
Rangers are now unbeaten in seven fixtures and head into the clash with Dundee United aiming to increase their lead in the Premiership title race.
The champions also face St Mirren, Aberdeen and Celtic before the winter break and Kamara is determined to play his part by hitting the heights once again.
Kamara said: “We want to keep that momentum going. We have been on a good run so far and we just want to keep it up.
“Christmas time is a busy period and hopefully we can keep doing well and keep it up until the break.
“[My form has been] a bit up and down. I feel like I’m getting a bit better and better as the games go by so hopefully I can get back to my level.
“I would say I have played a bit of a different role to the one I played under the old manager. I can’t really give you too many details on what he’s asked me to do.
“It’s been a bit different but so far so good and all the boys are enjoying it. Hopefully we can keep on getting good results.
“I guess a lot of the boys here have been together for a long time now. Everyone kind of knows each other quite well.
“When we do get on the field, everyone knows each other and we have a good connection.
“It’s been game, game, game, back-to-back, and I think everyone is looking forward to a week off in terms of no game.
“We are all looking forward to the break but we are looking forward to the game.”
