Gizmore inks new smartwatch manufacturing deal with Optiemus Electronics – Times of India

The company has shared its plans for smartwatches and is planning to produce and sell over 1.5 million wearables in 2023-24. To achieve this feat, Gizmore has to capture at least a 5% market share in India. The company has now announced its partnership with Optiemus Electronics Limited (OEL) for its smartwatches. Gizmore has collaborated with OEL to manufacture nearly 1 million smartwatches in the next 12 months.

Under this new partnership, Optiemus Electronics will be producing nearly 75% of the total volume of Gizmore smartwatches in the country in the coming years.
The company is planning to manufacture its upcoming smartwatch models with AMOLED display in partnership with OEL. These smartwatch models include Blaze Max, Vogue and others. The collaboration with OEL will be another step towards Gizmore’s commitment towards the “Make in India” initiative.
