Gigabyte, a company known for making computer hardware, PCs and laptops, has announced its new gaming laptop in India. Dubbed Gigabyte G5 series, the laptop comes with an 11th-generation Intel Core i5 H series processor, 16GB DDR4 RAM and Nvidia RTX 30 series graphics card.

Gigabyte has launched the G5 series in three variants — G5 KD, G5 MD and G5GD. Gigabyte G5 KD variant comes with Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060, while the MD and GD variants come with RTX 3050Ti and RTX 3050 graphics.
The price of the Gigabyte G5 series laptops starts at Rs 68,890. The laptops are now available for purchase via both online and offline retail channels.
Apart from that, Gigabyte has also announced an introductory offer on the purchase of G5 series gaming laptops. The company is offering Microsoft Office 365 Personal version 1-Year subscription at no additional cost. Along with that buyers will also get a Steam Gift card worth Rs 3,000 by redemption. The early bird introductory offer will be available till October 31.
Gigabyte G5 series: Specifications
Gigabyte G5 weighs under 2.2Kg and it features a compact and portable design as per gaming laptops’ standards. The laptop offers multiple I/O ports for better connectivity options. In terms of display, the laptop is equipped with a 15.6-inch full HD IPS LCD display with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and anti-glare coating. The display supports 144Hz refresh rate for smooth gaming experience.
Gigabyte also includes its proprietary Windforce cooling technology to maximum output from both GPU and CPU.
The G5 gaming laptop comes with two M.2 slots and one 2.5 inches swappable bay, 3 slots offering a total of up to 6TB of storage space. It also comes with one high-speed PCIe 4.0 x4 SSD slot.
The G5 comes with DTS: X Ultra audio technology with virtual 7.1-channel surround sound which claims to offer true 3D surround effects for editing, watching movies, and conference calls.
