‘Ghani’ box office collection: Varun Tej’s-Allu Bobby movie erns close Rs. 6 crores in 2 days – Times of India

Despite the ‘RRR’ storm, the makers of the Varun Tej and Saiee Manjrekar film took the gamble to release the movie in cinemas only to make close to Rs. 6 crores in two days.

‘Ghani’ has reportedly collected Rs 2.85 crores on the Saturday/2nd day of its release.

However, the film reportedly made with a whopping budget of Rs 30 crores had made a pre-release business of Rs 26.3 with most coming from the Telugu version of the theatrical rights. To break even, the film should reportedly collect at least Rs. 10 crore nett in its opening weakened but the film could only manage 5-6 crores so far (still Sunday collections need to be added).

‘Ghani’ is a 2022 Telugu sports drama film written and directed by Kiran Korrapati and is funded by Allu Arjun’s brother Allu Bobby Company. The film stars Varun Tej playing the title character ‘Ghani’ the boxer while Saiee Manjrekar played his love interest.

The film has several other prominent actors such as Upendra, Jagapathi Babu, Suniel Shetty, and Naveen Chandra playing other important roles in the film is shot by George C.Williams, is edited by Marthand K. Venkatesh and the music is scored by S.Thaman.
