Gauri Khan says Karan Johar hasn’t asked her to be on ‘Koffee With Karan’ in the last 18 years – Times of India

Gauri Khan had appeared in the first season of ‘Koffee With Karan’ with husband Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan and his then wife Susanne. Ever since then, while SRK has appeared on several seasons of the show, Gauri hasn’t made an appearance on it in 18 years! But now she’s back in the seventh season of the chat show along with friends Maheep Kapoor and Bhavna Panday, and is quite happy about it.

Gauri has revealed in a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, why she’s not appeared on this Karan Johar show for 18 years. She added that, maybe Karan has never asked her to be on the show. He had just asked her once and this time she was there because Karan is such a good friend and she had to come with Maheep and Bhavna and knew that would be a lot of ‘gupshup’ and fun.

She also confessed that she wanted to be on the show as she wanted to dress up. She laughed that one has to be all glammed up when with Karan Johar and she that she enjoyed dressing up, sitting and chit-chatting with friends.

This episode of ‘Koffee With Karan’ will premiere on September 22. Meanwhile, Gauri is set to make her OTT debut with ‘Dream Homes’ where she would be seen designing dream homes of some Bollywood celebrities like Farah Khan, Manish Malhotra, Katrina Kaif and more.
