Zarafshan ShirazFluid fashion looks to be the largest growing trend in 2021 and while fits that follow the curves of the body become our greatest fashion weakness, Gauahar Khan was seen tapping into the style during her latest travel stint at Abu Dhabi. Flaunting an hourglass figure, the Bollywood actor was seen enjoying a swing ride in Abu Dhabi’s Zaya Nurai Island but it was her effortless draping style in a rust coloured gown that encouraged us to embrace size fluidity.
Taking to her social media handle, Gauahar shared a video that compiled a series of her latest pictures from her recent photoshoot which showed her putting her sartorial foot forward. The pictures featured the diva donning the rust coloured ankle-length gown that was made of stretch moss crepe fabric and came with a smooth, fluid and matte finish.
The gown sported a V-neckline and gathered details along with a cascading flare sleeve on one side. Cinched at the waist to cut a sensuous hourglass silhouette, the dressing was completed with a pair of off-white flat footwear.
Accessorising her look with a pair of brown-tinted sunglasses, a wristwatch and a pair of dainty earring studs, Gauahar amplified the glam quotient with a dab of rust shade lipstick that matched her eyeshadow tint, highlighted cheeks, mascara-laden eyelashes and filled-in eyebrows. She captioned the video, “This island has my heart ! @zayanuraiisland #inabudhabi is just fabulous! Which is ur fave pic ??? #thetimeisnow #mynurai @visitabudhabi (sic).”
The ensemble is credited to fashion designer and founder Naina Seth’s brand ‘Na-Ka’ that boasts of pure inspiration from Japanese aesthetic and design techniques which promote and inspire slow living, believe in the less is more philosophy, focus on versatile garments made with love in small batches that transcend seasons and trends and create effortless and timeless designs that exude relaxed luxe. The rust gown originally costs ₹9,500 on the designer website.
Gauahar Khan was styled by celebrity fashion stylist Devki Bhatt.
