Tottenham Hotspur have called on ‘social media companies and authorities to take action’ after Son Heung-min was the target of ‘utterly reprehensible online racist abuse’.
The racist abuse comes as the 30-year-old was on target for Spurs against West Ham in the London derby at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
It also comes just one week after Ivan Toney received a barrage of racist and abusive messages via his Instagram account’ after Brentford’s game against Arsenal on Saturday.
