Funniest wildlife photos of 2021

The annual Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards have not disappointed, with an array of animals captured in bizarrely humanlike poses.

The animal kingdom has been spectacularly showcased in a compilation of hilarious photos submitted for this year’s Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards.

Animals of all shapes and sizes have been captured by photographers striking unexpectedly silly and humanlike poses across the globe.

Among the images to be selected for the competition’s finals, set to take place on October 22, was an incredible photo of a giggling seal, a monkey riding a giraffe, and a laughing snake.

Other animals were captured in the midst of what appeared to be a humble boogie, while a pigeon was photographed standing in the breeze with a leaf across its face.

A close-up image of a blue bug brought a whole new meaning to being wide-eyed, with its open jaw and lower-lip fluff making for an adorable cheeky snap.

In another photo, a polar bear seemed to be making a gesture towards the photographer as it clung to a log behind two seemingly older polar bears sharing an intimate moment.

A baby otter was captured in a shocked expression as its parent pulled it out of the water using its mouth, while a huge eagle was photographed seemingly getting spooked by a much smaller creature.

Another photographer captured a massive bear, which appeared to be laughing, kicking back in a pit of dirt.
