The Phillies told reporters Monday that catcher J.T. Realmuto, third basemen Alec Bohm, and starting pitchers Aaron Nola and Kyle Gibson will not be eligible to play in games on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports injuries and demotions prevented other potential absences.
The restricted list is for those who did not meet Canada’s COVID-19 vaccination status requirement.
Gibson pitched Saturday and Nola was scheduled to start Monday against the St. Louis Cardinals, meaning they likely wouldn’t have been used in Toronto if they were available.
Realmuto is hitting .236 with seven homers and 35 RBI, while Bohm is batting .271 with six home runs and 33 RBI.
