Former AG Mukul Rohatgi says Shah Rukh Khan had ‘tears of joy’ after son Aryan Khan got bail; reveals he was just having ‘coffee after coffee’ – Times of India

Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan finally are relieved as their son Aryan Khan was granted bail by the Bombay High Court on Thursday. He was arrested on October 3 by the NCB in an alleged drug case. Now, former attorney general Mukul Rohatgi, who represented Aryan at the Bombay High Court, has spilled the beans on how SRK had ‘tears of joy’ after Aryan was granted bail.

The lawyer told NDTV, “The father had tears of joy in his eyes.” He further said, “He (Shah Rukh Khan) has been very, very worried the last three-four days that I was there and I’m not even sure whether he had proper meals. He was just having coffee after coffee. And he was very, very worried. And I could see a big sense of relief, yeah, on the father’s face last time I met him.”

Rohatgi further revealed that SRK was trying to tell him Aryan’s background. “He is not a lawyer but a person with strong common sense and perception. He was trying to tell me the background, whatever it was, where his son studied, whom did he know, what were the chats about,” he added.

After the news of Aryan’s bail broke, pictures of Shah Rukh were shared on social media where he was seen striking a happy pose with his team of lawyers. The star kid is expected to walk out of Arthur Road jail on Friday evening as the court is yet to give its order on the conditions imposed while granting bail.

Apart from Aryan, the other two people who were arrested Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha were also granted bail by the Bombay HC.
