First Ola electric car for India teaser launched; likely to debut around 2023

Ola is known for its cab services, which can be availed in across a number of cities. The company is also making its mark in the electric scooter segment in India. And now as per the latest information, Ola’s first electric car for the Indian market has been teased. The teaser clip of Ola’s first electric car was aired during the company’s first Ola Customer Day event, which was held at Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu on Sunday, June 19. Also, as per the report the Ola electric car is likely to be launched sometime in 2023.

From the teaser or images of the Ola electric car which are circulating over the social media, it can be seen the car is in red colour and looks futuristic. The car has two U-shaped LED headlamps with an LED light bar in the centre and the front fascia is likely to carry a faux grille. You will also see OLA written right at the centre, just below the LED light bar. While talking about the rear or back of the car, it features slim LED lights which run across the width of the car.

However, what needs to be noted is that Ola Electric has not yet released any details regarding its first electric car. But Ola’s CEO Bhavish Aggarwal has hinted that some information can be revealed on August 15, 2022. Taking to his official Twitter handle he said, “You all came from across India, taking trains, buses, flights and some of you even rode down. Your support and love is what motivates us everyday to #EndICEage ???????????? See you next on 15th August!”

It can be known that currently Ola Electric is selling the Ola S1 Pro premium electric scooter in India. The cost of the OLA S1 Pro is Rs. 1,39,999. It comes in 10 colour options.
